Mission Mode is the flexible campaign option in BRIGANDINE ABYSS: choose from 24 nations, then play toward the objective attached to that nation. It is structured differently from the six Story Mode campaigns, and its completion milestones are tracked separately in the achievement list.
Quick Answer
Section titled “Quick Answer”Mission Mode offers 24 selectable nations. Each nation can have a different objective, so check the objective before committing to a run. It is separate from the six Story Mode campaigns, with achievements for completing Mission Mode campaigns with 3, 8, 15, and all factions.
How Mission Mode Works
Section titled “How Mission Mode Works”Story Mode presents six faction campaigns with their own leaders and campaign premises. Mission Mode opens the wider 24-nation roster and asks you to work toward nation-specific objectives. Use the objective type to decide what to prioritize during the run rather than treating the mode as a simple duplicate of Story Mode.

Mission Objective Types
Section titled “Mission Objective Types”Mission objectives include:
- Unify the Continent
- Strengthen Strongholds
- Collect designated items
- Collect monsters
- Gather allies
- Repay debts
- Defend strongholds
These objective families point your attention toward conquest, economy, collection, recruitment, or defense. They are navigation cues, not a difficulty ranking.

Choosing a Mission
Section titled “Choosing a Mission”Before starting, read the objective and match your opening priorities to it:
- Conquest: plan around expanding control and the objective wording.
- Economy: prioritize the stronghold and material systems that support the campaign.
- Collection: watch the designated item or Monster requirement from the start.
- Defense: protect the strongholds named by the objective.
- Recruitment: organize the campaign around gathering the required allies.
